The accident happened at a CSX Railroad crossing around 7:15 a.m., and Hartselle Middle School student Brayden Leslie shot video of the crash while sitting in a car parked a short distance away.

After the truck became stuck on the tracks, police were forced to shut down traffic at four area crossings, bringing traffic to a halt for several hours. The driver exited the truck before the train plowed into the 18-wheeler, jackknifing it on impact.
