UPDATE: 2 killed in Tuscaloosa truck-train crash identified

      Update:57 year old Charles Kelly Meiklejohn of Gulf Shores and 39 year old Nahum Terrance Mickles of Foley were killed in the crash that happened around 11:30am Tuesday.

      Preliminary investigation indicates the crash may have been weather related.


      Two people died Tuesday after a train collided with a truck in Tuscaloosa, ABC 33/40 reporter Isaiah Harper has learned.

      The accident occurred at a railroad crossing off of Larry Nolan Road and University Boulevard East near Cottondale as a strong winter storm blanketed the state, causing numerous traffic accidents.

      Details surrounding the crash are limited as authorities continue to investigate.
