2 suspects arrested for home burglaries in Vestavia Hills
A 22-year-old woman is the latest suspect to be arrested in connection to an investigation of residential burglaries in the Tanglewood community of Vestavia Hills.
Melissa McGill, of Birmingham, has been charged with first-degree receiving of stolen property, the Vestavia Hills Police Department reports.
McGill is currently being held in the Jefferson County Jail on a $30,000 bond.
An investigation is on-going and further charges may follow.
Before McGill's arrest, Vestavia Hills Detectives obtained two felony warrants for first-degree Receiving Stolen Property on Luke Lovelady, 24, of Birmingham, in connection to the same investigation.
Lovelady is also being held in the Jefferson County Jail on a $30,000 bond.
Another Vestavia Hills burglary suspect remains at large:
The Vestavia Hills Police Department reports that a felony warrant for third degree burglary has been obtained for Joseph W. Warr, 27, of Vestavia Hills, in connection to a residential burglary investigation.
Police believe Warr was involved in a home burglary in the area of Rocky Ridge Road and the Sagewood community.
