The 4th runner up in the 2013 Miss Alabama USA pageant has been charged in connection to a 2012 hit-and-run accident in Tuscaloosa.

Stormie Lane Henderson, of Tuscaloosa, is charged with one count of Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Injuries for her involvement in a hit-and-run case that happened on November 16, 2012, the Tuscaloosa Police Department reports.

Henderson is accused of striking two pedestrians that were walking across 12th Street at 10th Avenue and leaving the scene. The two victims, ages 21 and 20, were transported to DCH with non-life threatening injuries.

An investigation determined Henderson was the driver in the accident and the case was presented to a Grand Jury who then issued a felony warrant for her arrest. She was arrested on Monday and is currently being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail. Henderson's bond is set at $5,000.
