The driver of the red car had to be extracted by rescue crews and was transported to the hospital by Life Saver helicopter. He sustained serious injuries but is expect to survive. A passenger in his vehicle was transported by ambulance to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the truck was also taken to the hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
