4th of July events

July 2nd, Saturday, City of Alabaster will host "Celebrate America" celebration at Kinwood Baptist Church at Veterans Park in Alabaster.{} Event will be from 6 - 9:30 p.m. A movie will be played in the park with fireworks to follow. The event is free to the public.

July 4th, Monday, Downtown Homewood beginning at 5:30 p.m.{} Fun family atmosphere with rides, inflatables and an interactive DJ creates a festive atmosphere as we close down the streets in Downtown Homewood to celebrate our nation's birthday. July 4, Monday, Alexander City 4th of July Blast Concert and Fireworks Show at Kowaliga Marina On Lake Martin. Presented by Russell Lands On Lake Martin. Event features a benefit concert at The Amp, followed by the largest fireworks display in the southeast. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., concert starts at 6, and fireworks at 9.
