A current five-star running back commitment to the University of Alabama has decided to play his senior season at a different high school.
Bo Scarbrough, a highly-rated prospect by all of the major recruiting services, will transfer from Northridge High School to nearby Tuscaloosa County for his senior year. The 6-foot-2, 225-pound athlete has been committed to his hometown college since September, 2012, and he is widely-considered the top signee to date in Nick Saban's current 2014 recruiting class.
According to Scarbrough, academics was the deciding factor in making the move to a different school.
While he remains committed to the reigning BCS National Champions in Tuscaloosa, several other SEC schools including Auburn, Florida, Georgia and others continue to recruit the bruising back. Scarbrough currently holds scholarship offers from 11 programs nationwide.
