74-Year-Old Man Killed In Cullman Train Accident
CULLMAN COUNTY - AL —
The Cullman County Sheriff's Office say 74-year-old Wayne Wesley Floyd died this morning after a train accident.
Sheriff Mike Rainey says the man wandered away from his home and ended up in the middle of the tracks on County Road 1301, north of the city of Cullman.
The train conductor told investigators he could not stop.
Rainey says Floyd has a history of medical problems and may have had Alzheimer's.
The sheriff's Office has ruled the incident an accidental death.
