A resolution of support in AL State House likely for"Duck Dynasty" Star

You could soon see a resolution in the Alabama State House regarding support for "Duck Dynasty" star, Phil Robertson. {}The Talladega Daily Home quotes Republican Sen. Jerry Fielding of Sylacauga as saying the A&E network "bowed to pressures from liberal groups rather than respecting Robertson's biblically correct views." {}

You may recall, in an interview with GQ magazine, Robertson was quoted as saying things some considered homophobic and racist. {}The network suspended Robertson from the show. {}Some retailers pulled "Duck Dynasty" gear from their shelves while his supporters cried out in outrage. {}The Cracker Barrell actually reversed its decision to remove the products.

Fielding says he stands with many Alabamians who support Robertson sharing his Christian beliefs.{}
