A stabbing leaves one man dead and police looking for answers

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Birmingham police are investigating the stabbing death of man in Ensley Saturday night, Lt. Sean Edwards said.

Officers were called to the 300 block of 14th Street around 10:30 p.m. and arrived to find a man suffering from multiple stab wounds to his back and stomach. The victim, whose identity has yet to be released, was pronounced dead a short time later.

Investigators are a questioning a person of interest in the case, but are asking anyone with information to please call Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.
