ABC agents seize moonshine

{} {} Agents with the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board have seized about 135 gallons of illegal moonshine in Lowndes County.{} {} It's the second still seized and destroyed at the same location in the last year. The illegal alcohol has an approximate street value of $4,050 or about $30 per gallon.{} {} The moonshine was seized on Thursday from an abandoned shack approximately 40 yards from the active still site.{} {} ABC Enforcement Captain Hal Taylor says moonshine is not only illegal- but also a public health concern. It is typically made in very unsanitary conditions and people who drink it are taking a big chance.{} {} No arrests have been made in the case.
