      ACL injuries on the rise for young female athletes

      Research suggests that young female athletes are more prone to suffer more anterior cruciate ligament, or ACL, injuries than their male counterparts.

      On Tuesday's "Focus @ 4" program, reporter Marissa Mitchell will explore why that is the case, as well as some preventive techniques that athletes can add to their routines to prevent and reduce the common tear.
