UPS plane crash leads one airport community to host forum

As the investigation into the cause of UPS Flight 1354 continues, members of the Airport community are raising concerns about safety.

So much so, East Lake Community Member Robert Walker has organized a community forum. Walker tells ABC 33/40 the forum will be held Wednesday, August 21 at the Shields Conference Center in Birmingham. He says he has invited Birmingham Mayor William Bell and members of the Birmingham Airport Authority to the event.

Since the deadly{}crash Wednesday, residents have brought up worries regarding low-flying planes, loud noises and the Airport Authority's recently-completed buyout program.
