Airport honors Luke Bresette with a "Moment of Silence"

The Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport held a moment of silence to honor the memory of a 10-year-old from Kansas City who was killed inside one of Birmingham Shuttlesworth airport terminals.{}The 30-second moment of silence for Luke Bresette took place on Saturday at 1:30 p.m., which is around the time the accident happened one year ago.{}Last year on March 22, a flight status board tipped over on Bresette. He died after the incident.Airport employees will distribute and wear red, white and blue ribbons in memory of Luke Bresette.{}Since his death, the airport installed new display boards and plan to put more in once Concourse C is finished.
