      Alabama A-Day 2014: Spring football game scheduled for April 19

      The University of Alabama football team will hold its annual A-Day game April 19, 2014 at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Ala., the school announced Wednesday. (abc3340.com)

      TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (Alabama Athletics) -- The University of Alabama announced Wednesday that the 2014 A-Day Spring Football Game will be held on Saturday, April 19 at 1 p.m.{}

      The annual A-Day Game is the 15th and final practice of the spring and takes place at Bryant-Denny Stadium scheduled. Admission will once again be free to the public. More information on A-Day, including additional activities, traffic, and parking, will be available at a later date on rolltide.com.

      Alabama leads the nation in spring game attendance over the last seven years with a total of 594,851 fans and an average of 84,978 fans per game during that period. The largest A-Day crowd in school history came in 2011 (92,310). In head coach Nick Saban's first year of 2007, the stadium was at full capacity prior to expansion (92,138).
