Alabama gets Advanced Placement scores today

This morning, Governor Robert Bentley along with state education leaders will announce the results for the 64 Alabama schools{}participating{}in Advanced Placement courses and testing.

{} He will also name the 10 schools that will join the A+ College Ready initiative. {}That program is designed to help students excel in AP courses. {}According to a news release from the Alabama State Department of Education, "A+ College Ready is designed to increase student success in rigorous Advanced Placement courses, and has helped the state of Alabama lead the nation in the increase of advanced-placement enrollment and success." {} The announcements will take place today, Monday, September 24th, at 10AM, at Stanhope Elmore High School in Millbrook.
