Alabama picks up commitment from four-star quarterback Blake Barnett

TUSCALOOSA - AL — Alabama football picked up a commitment from one of the top dual threat quarterbacks in the Class of 2015.Blake Barnett, from Santiago High School in California, is said to have fallen in love during a recent visit and committed to the Crimson Tide Wednesday morning.Barnett had been committed to Notre Dame until he changed his mind earlier this month.The 6-foot-3, 195 pound Barnett is rated by as the No. 65 overall prospect and the No. 3 dual-threat quarterback for 2015 by 247Sports. His high school coach says the player plans to graduate in December and enroll in time to take part in spring practice.Barnett is the 19th commitment of the 2015 class.
