Alabama signee Robert Foster working to become eligible
Alabama football will begin fall practice on August 2, and Robert Foster hopes to be a part of it.
Tide coach Nick Saban told reporters at SEC Media Days that Foster is retaking a class that was not accepted by the NCAA Clearinghouse. If he passes it, he should be available for the 2013 season.
"They gave him an opportunity to repeat the class," Saban said. "That's what he's in the process of doing. If he repeats the class successfully, he'll be there in the fall."
Foster is a five-star prospect from Central Valley High School in Pennsylvania. He combined for 26 touchdowns in his senior season and participated in the Under Armour All-America game.
He's the only member of Alabama's 2013 signing class that has yet to enroll.
