      Alabama singer/song writer suing "Call Me Maybe" singer

      Pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen is being sued for copyright infringement for her hit collaboration "Good Time" with the band Owl City.{}{}The case was brought by Alabama singer Allyson Nichole Burnett against Jepsen, Owl City's Adam Young, and writers Matt Thiessen and Brian Lee. {}Burnett claims that "Good Time" copies her 2010 song "Ah, It's a Love Song".{}

      Carly Rae Jepsen's manager says that Jepsen is not one of the authors of the song and is not receiving benefits from writing the song.{}He says he believes Burnett will drop the lawsuit against Jepsen.{}

      Also named in the suit are Universal Music Group, Songs Music Publishing, and Schoolboy Records.{}
