Alabama time change for weekend baseball vs Ole Miss

Friday's game between No. 30 Alabama and No. 9 Ole Miss will begin at 6:05 p.m., which is thirty minutes earlier than originally scheduled.

Alabama hopes the time change will help it avoid rain storms that are scheduled to push into the Tuscaloosa area on Friday night.

The Crimson Tide (16-8, 3-3) will send right handed pitcher Spencer Turnbull against the Rebels Chris Ellis. Turnbull is 2-1 and has allowed just one earned run in 32 innings this season.

Game two of the series is scheduled for Saturday at 6:05 p.m. and the teams will wrap up series Sunday at 1:05 p.m. All three games will be played at Sewell Thomas Stadium in Tuscaloosa.
