TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) Alabama will open the 2014 season in Atlanta against West Virginia and host Florida from the Southeastern Conference East Division.

The Crimson Tide released its schedule for 2014 on Wednesday.

The Aug. 30 opener will mark Alabama's second straight appearance in the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game at the Georgia Dome and fourth overall.

The Tide meets Virginia Tech on Aug. 31 and beat Clemson in 2008 and the Hokies the following season.

Alabama and Florida, which play on Sept. 20, haven't met since a 38-10 Tide win in 2011. They also split back-to-back 1 versus 2 matchups in the SEC championship game in 2008 and 2009.

The SEC compiles league schedules using a 6-1-1 format of division opponents, a permanent opponent from outside the division and one rotating non-divisional team.{}

Alabama's final non-conference opponent and the date of that game is yet to be determined.

Below is the dates, opponents and locations on the 2014 Alabama football schedule. Home games are in bold.
