Alabama's Dillon Lee arrested for DUI in Tuscaloosa
Alabama linebacker Dillon Lee was arrested for DUI on Thursday.
The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff Office website says the junior football player was released on $1,000 bond.
The Tuscaloosa News was the first to report the story.
"I don't have all of the details at this point and will handle it appropriately once I've had a chance to review all of the information," Alabama coach Nick Saban said in a statement through the school.
Lee played in all 13 games last season, primarily on special teams. He finished with 16 tackles and a fumble recovery.
He may be best known to Alabama fans for breaking curfew the week of the 2013 BCS National Championship. He and a teammate were sent home and not allowed to be part of the game.
Coach Saban singled Lee out as a player who could be ready to take on a bigger role when spring practice began last month.
