Alabama's Kamara away from team for behavioral reasons
Alabama running back Alvin Kamara is not practicing with the team because of behavioral reasons.
Tide coach Nick Saban made the announcement on Wednesday but did not offer any further details. There is no indication of when Kamara could return to practice.
He has yet to play this season and appears to be a candidate to redshirt.
Kamara was a four-star prospect from Norcross, GA who chose with Alabama over his home-state Georgia Bulldogs last spring. He was one of four running backs in the signing class.
Top ranked Alabama plays 10/12 LSU Saturday night at Bryant Denny Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
