Alabaster home synchronizes 30,000 Christmas lights to Alabama fight song
One resident in Alabaster is showing University of Alabama pride through Christmas lights and the radio.
At a home on Arrow Drive, an estimated 30,000 holiday lights are synchronized to the Alabama fight song "Yea, Alabama", leaving neighbors and onlookers stunned in amazement.
The actual music is aired over the radio on 88.3 FM and the lights outlining the home and its various surroundings are set to glow to the tune of every beat of the Crimson Tide's battle cry and several other holiday soundtracks. It is all controlled by Light-O-Rama computer software.Normally, homeowners remove their Christmas lights soon after December 25. But I have a suspicion that this home's owner might let these lights stick around into the new year. Maybe until, say, January 8?Trouble viewing the video? Click here.
