Alagasco responds to the smell of natural gas in Midfield
Something in the air in Midfield and Fairfield didn't smell right for a time today. People complained of smelling natural gas. One of our own reporters smelled it too and called Alagasco.
We came across repair crews in Midfield. The crews were conducting above ground tests along Woodward Road. The crews did find leaks and repairs have been made. One woman who lives in Fairfield told us she has smelled gas for several months and has also called Alagaso.
"On a day like today when it's windy you can smell it more. Sometimes you don't smell it at all. But sometimes back in the summer when it was humid you could smell it more," said Lauren Norris.
Spokeswoman at Alagasco who says there is no danger for people living in the area.
