Beginning at 8:00 p.m., Thursday, the Alabama Department of Transportation will begin repair of traffic striping on a section of I-59 in the Roebuck and Trussville area.
Work will start on I-59 northbound from near the US-11 interchange (exit 132) in Birmingham, to north of I-459 interchange exit 137 in Trussville.
One work is completed in the northbound lanes, it will continue in the southbound lanes.
ALDOT says all travel lanes will be reopened to traffic no later than 5 p.m. each day.
Drivers are requested to consider using alternate routes.
