      Another national championship team returns to "title town"

      The University of Alabama softball team returned to Tuscaloosa just before noon Thursday, national champions.

      A large crowd met the team at the airport. They were waving flags and holding signs.

      The Crimson Tide is the first team from the SEC{}to win the title in softball.{}{}{}The game was delayed by rain for almost three hours, Wednesday but{}finally got underway around 10p.m.{} The Crimson Tide overcame an early 3-0{}deficit to win 5-4.

      Jackie Traina, the Tide's star sophomore pitcher, earned the MVP honor.

      This is the fourth national championship for Alabama this year.{}{} The football, gymnastics and women's golf teams also won titles.
