Arrest made in Burger King armed robbery

Shelby County Sheriff's investigators have made an arrest in the October 8, 2012 armed robbery of the Burger King in Chelsea.

Kenneth Rodriguez Walthall, 25, of Childersburg, has been charged with{}Robbery First Degree and Theft of Property Second Degree. Walthall is being held in the Shelby County jail on a total $75,000 bond.

According to a new release, the robbery happened at 11:00 p.m.{}A masked man with a shotgun met Burger King employees outside of the store as they were taking out trash. The man then ordered the employees back into the store, demanded they get on the floor, and took money from the safe. No one was injured and the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
