Arrest Made In Shrimp Basket Robbery
TUSCALOOSA - AL —
Tuscaloosa police have charged a 19-year-old with a robbery at the Shrimp Basket Restaurant earlier this month.
Police say the robbery occurred last Friday at the restaurant on East McFarland Boulevard. Employees told police customers had left the store and when they opened the back door to take the trash out a man was standing there with a handgun. The man went into the restaurant and demanded money. He did not receive any and took off. Investigators identified the suspect as 19-year-old Timothy Lipscomb.
He is being held in the Tuscaloosa County jail.
