Atheist billboards going up during the holidays

Times Square is full of Christmas cheer, and now atheist billboards.

An{}atheist group from New Jersey had a giant billboard erected that urges those who pass by to "keep the merry and dump the myth." The group says a private donor paid more than $25,000 to have the billboard posted for one month. The billboard is set to come down on January 10th, 2013.

This is not the first year the atheist group has had a billboard on Times Square during the holidays. The act is becoming a tradition since the first sign was posted in 2010.
