AT&T Launches "It Can Wait" Campaign

Phone company, AT&T, Inc. has unveiled their new website,{}{} It is part of the "It Can Wait" campaign. {}The so-called anti-texting while driving campaign launched in 2010 to educate consumers, and specifically teens, on the dangers of texting on the road.{} The campaign provides public service announcements, targeted advertising against the practice of texting while driving and an educational tool kit to schools and companies.

AT&T President Randall Stephenson encourages all consumers to sign the pledge on the website not to text and drive. He has approved the national advertising campaign and a call to action for consumers to make texting while driving socially unacceptable.

"APCO supports AT&T's commitment to educating consumers on the dangers of texting while driving and for providing the tools to improve safe driving practices," said APCO President Gregg Riddle.{}
