Auburn baseball to restart series with Georgia Tech
AUBURN - AL —
Auburn and Georgia Tech are set to restart their baseball rivalry.
The Tigers and Yellow Jackets have scheduled a home-and-hone series in 2015. The programs haven't played each other since 2005.
Auburn will travel to Atlanta on March 24 and host Georgia Tech on April 29 at Plainsman Park.
"With the timing of coming in new last year, we were not able to add many games to the schedule," Auburn head coach Sunny Golloway said in a statement. "This was our first opportunity to add a quality opponent from the region like Georgia Tech. We are excited to get them back on the schedule and look forward to adding similar programs in the future."
Auburn leads the all-time series with Georgia Tech, 59-42-1.
