Auburn women's basketball was all business in the second half against Old Dominion.
The Tigers went on a 20-4 run immediately after halftime on their way to a 82-59 win and a trip to the third round of the WNIT.
Auburn led 30-28 at halftime.
"When we got into halftime, even though we were only up two, we knew we still had to be focused for the second half," said senior Tyrese Tanner. "We knew our press was wearing them down."
Auburn's defense forced Old Dominion into 13 second half turnovers, and easy buckets for Tanner and Peyton Davis. The two seniors combined for 23 points in the second half on 11 of 16 shooting.
Tanner scored a game-high 24 points, Davis added 12, Katie Frerking scored 11 and both Brandy Montgomery and Tra'Cee Tanner had 10.
Auburn will play Mississippi State in Starkville in the third round of the WNIT. The game is scheduled for Thursday night at 7.
The Tigers are 2-0 against MSU this season.
