Auburn basketball scores with commitment from Antoine Mason, nation's top returning scorer

AUBURN - AL — Antoine Mason will transfer to Auburn for his final season of college basketball.The former Niagara University star averaged 25.6 points a game last year which makes him the nation's top returning scorer.Mason announced his decision on twitter:It's Official I Will Be Wearing Orange and Blue #14 at Auburn University #WarEagles #blessed #chiponmyshoulderMason, who is the son of former NBA star Anthony Mason, completed his undergraduate degree last month and will be eligible to play at Auburn this season.The 6-foot-3, 210-pound guard was also considering a transfer to Boston College and Providence.Mason is the third Division I player to transfer into the Auburn program since Bruce Pearl took over as the head coach in March.
