Auburn basketball's Dion Wade undergoes successful knee surgery

AUBURN - AL — Auburn's Dion Wade is on the road to recovery.The school announced that Wade underwent successful surgery on his knee and is expected to make a full recovery. The extent of the injury and how it occurred is not clear.The 6-foot-5, 170-pound Wade averaged 3 points and 1.3 rebounds in 11 minutes a game last season. His strongest SEC performance came against South Carolina in late February, when he had nine points and four rebounds in a win at Auburn Arena.
