Auburn fans head west for BCS Championship game

Hundreds of Tiger fans prepare to fly out to Pasadena, California for the 2014 BCS National Championship game between Auburn and Florida State University.

But the Tigers and Seminoles aren't the only ones preparing for Monday's game; the airport staff is bringing their "A" game too

"We had a plan, and have been preparing for today. That's not only the airport operations but all of our tenants, our concessions," says Airport Spokesperson Toni Bast.

Bast says this is the busiest day for outgoing traffic for the BCS game with 17 charter flights.

Birmingham Shuttlesworth Airport is decorated in orange and blue, and so were the fans. {}

The game is scheduled Monday, January 6th.
