AUBURN, Ala. -- The Auburn football program is gearing up for its annual recruiting extravaganza dubbed "Big Cat Weekend," and its even getting the Jordan-Hare Stadium grounds crew involved.Coming off a season filled with unforgettable moments and a run to the BCS National Championship game, the defending SEC champs will look to build off their 13-1 year by landing commitments from some highly-rated prep prospects this weekend. In an effort to do so, the Tigers have enlisted the help of the Pat Dye Field caretakers.During their time on the Plains, recruits will be shown the exact track taken by Chris Davis when he stunned the nation with a game-winning field goal kick return in last year's Iron Bowl. Using orange-colored hash marks, crews painted Davis' 109-yard, jaw-dropping run to the end zone that broke the hearts of Alabama fans everywhere and sent the "Auburn Family" into a joyous, uncontrollable rage. The play not only shifted Iron Bowl bragging rights back in the Tigers' favor, but it capped off one-loss season for Gus Malzahn and, ultimately, led to the school's eighth SEC title the following week in Atlanta. By Sunday night, we'll know if the magic from that memorable November night lives on when the number of commitments during Big Cat Weekend are tallied.
