Running back Peyton Barber is ready for college class.
An Auburn spokesman confirmed that Barber is on campus and has been cleared to start taking classes.
Barber rushed for 1,713 yards and 22 touchdowns in his senior season at Milton High School in Alpharetta, GA. He will join Tre Mason, Cameron Artis-Payne, Corey Grant and Johnathan Ford among the running backs who will compete for playing time in the fall.

The Tigers are waiting to find out if quarterback Jason Smith (McGill-Toolen) and Earnest Robinson (Pinson Valley) will qualify academically before the start of the fall semester.
