Auburn wide receiver Quan Bray arrested Thursday night in Georgia

Auburn sophomore receiver Quan Bray was arrested on the campus of University of West Georgia for operating a vehicle on a limited Georgia driver's permit after being pulled over by campus police for loud music.

Along with being arrested, Bray received citations for an open alcoholic beverage container and loud music.

Police have confirmed that Bray was not drinking.

The 19-year-old was released on bond from the Carroll County Jail at 10 a.m. on Friday

According to Georgia Department of Driver Services, a limited driving permit is issued in certain situations while a driver's regular license is suspended.{} The permit only allows for the following:

  • Drive to your place of employment or to perform the normal duties of your occupation.
  • Receive scheduled medical attention or obtain prescribed drugs.
  • Attend classes at a college or school in which you are enrolled as a student.
  • Attend regularly scheduled sessions or meeting of support organizations for the treatment of alcohol or other drugs.
  • Attend a driver education program or alcohol/drug assessment and treatment program.

Bray is from LaGrange, Georgia and he played his high school football at Troup County High.
