Auburn's Chizik says he expects Reese Dismukes, Mike Blakely and others to play

In his weekly "Tiger Talk" radio show tonight, Auburn head coach Gene Chizik said some of his players that saw limited action against Clemson last week, will see their roles expand in Starkville.

Arguably, none will be more important than sophomore center Reese Dismukes.{} The Spanish Fort product returns from a one-game suspension which should provide his wide-eyed quarterback, Keihl Frazier, some much-needed extra time in the pocket.

"We expect a lot out of him Saturday." Chizik said about Dismukes during his show.

Another player that Chizik said can expect to play more is running back Mike Blakely.{} The sophomore transfer had only one carry for two yards in Atlanta.

An area of concern for the Tigers is the secondary, and Chizik plans to use a defensive backs-by-committee approach this week against the Bulldogs.{} Enrique Florence, Robinson Therezie and DeMetruce "Meat" McNeal could see their reps escalate on the road trip, especially if the starters struggle early.

When talking about his gifted defensive ends, Corey Lemonier and Dee Ford, Chizik said they "have to be the blood and guts of this defense."{}

They showed in the first game that they can handle that role.

Kickoff is at 11 a.m. and will be televised by ESPN.
