Keegan Thompson has his second All-American honor of the offseason.
Auburn's pitcher/infielder was named a first-team Freshman All-American by Baseball America. He received the same honor from Collegiate Baseball earlier this month.
Thompson started 12 games last season and went 5-3 with a 2.01 ERA in 89.2 innings pitched. The right-hander led the team with 73 strikeouts.
Vanderbilt outfielder Bryan Reynolds and Florida pitcher Logan Shore are other SEC players named Freshman All-Americans by Baseball America.
Thompson is a Cullman High School graduate and the state's only two-time Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year award winner.
