Authorities Searching for Two Suspects in Tuscaloosa Homicide

The Tuscaloosa Metro Homicide Unit has obtained Capital Murder warrants on two men for the shooting death of 17-year-old Matthew Callahan.{} Callahan was shot at River Road Condos in Tuscaloosa on April 9.

{} 24-year-old Timothy "Junior" Thornton and 18-year-old Kiunte "Felon" Furr are believed to be responsible for Callahan's death.{} Authorities believe that the two men were aquatinted with Callahan and met him with the intent to rob him.

{} Both men are believed to be armed and dangerous.{} The United States Marshal's Task Force is assisting in the search for the suspects.
