Warm, dry air from your home's heater or furnace can cause nasal passage problems. To avoid sinus and throat issues, your home should be between 25-40% humidity during the winter. If your home is less than that, a humidifier in your bedroom can add moisture to the air as you sleep. Sipping water throughput the day to hydrate yourself could also help. You could also use nasal moisturizer or saline spray.
