Barbecue chain offering comfort to Colorado shooting victims

A barbecue chain is allowing its customers to reach out to the survivors of the Colorado movie theater shooting.

Starting next week, Jim 'N Nicks will provide inserts inside its menus. Diners are free to write or draw their thoughts or prayers about the shooting.

Staff members from the restaurant will then hand-deliver the inserts to survivors on an upcoming trip to Colorado for a barbecue event.

"We were all just horrified by this situation...and a few days later we got on the conference call and decided this is what we're going to do to help out," Chef Toney Hunter said.

Jim 'N Nicks has two locations in Colorado, including one in Aurora.{}
