Barbra Streisand to Perform at Academy Awards

For the first time in 36 years, singer and actress Barbra Streisand will perform at the Academy Awards.

Streisand last sang on the Oscar stage in 1977 when she belted out a song from "A Star Is Born."

That same year, she won best original song for "Evergreen."

Other powerhouse performers for this year's show include Adele and Norah Jones.

The 85th Academy Awards will air February 24th and will be hosted Seth MacFarlane.
