      Bessemer City Schools assess storm damage

      No Bessemer City Schools suffered significant damage in Monday's storms, according to superintendent Fred Primm.However, the district's bus barn on 4th Avenue experienced significant damage. Primm tells ABC 33/40 only one bus was damaged. The vehicles have been moved to Bessemer City Middle School. The superintendent adds that, due to power outages, road closures and students being displaced, his staff made the decision to cancel classes this week.Classes are planned to resume Monday.
