Bessemer police have arrested one of three suspects wanted in connection with a robbery at an area Kentucky Fried Chicken Friday.
Nathaniel Rembert, 26, is charged with robbery and attempted murder of an officer for using his vehicle as a weapon while attempting to elude police. Rembert is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on bonds totaling $1 million.
Two other suspects, who have yet to be identified, in the robbery escaped capture during the chase that ended in Birmingham.
