Binge drinking can lead to heart problems
College students have the highest rates of binge drinking episodes. A new study finds partying too hard in college may have long-term effects on your heart.
Binge drinking is defined as having five or more drinks in a two-hour period for males, or four or more drinks in a two-hour period for females. Doctors say drinking large amounts of alcohol can damage blood vessels and lead to a higher risk of heart attack and stroke.
The moral of the story --- when you drink too much, bad things can happen.
