Birmingham caregiver accused of stealing, using seniors' credit cards

A Birmingham woman faces eleven charges related to credit card theft. Police says her latest victims were senior citizens in her care.
Gardendale police say 28-year-old Vacena Mae Hall was hired as a caregiver for three senior citizens. They believe she stole credit cards from them and used those cards to purchase items for herself.
Hall was arrested February 10 on an outstanding identity theft warrant in another case. On Wednesday, another 11 felony warrants were obtained against her including identity theft, theft of property, fraudulent use of a credit card and elder abuse by financial exploitation.
Hall is being held on bonds totaling $210,000.
