Birmingham councilman calls for end to violence
Over the last week, five people were killed in Birmingham. It all began with the shooting death of a 15 year old inside Railroad Park. Birmingham City Councilor Johnathan Austin is now calling for an end to the violence.
Austin addressed the media at 7:20 Sunday night. That was the time 15 year old Jermaine Walton was shot in the head. He wants the community to help police find the shooter.
Austin also wants all the violence to stop.
The other victims who lost their lives range in age from two years old to 39 years old. Some of the suspected shooters have been arrested. Others haven't.
